Covid-19 Update

Opus Metrology currently remains fully open and plans to remain so during this period unless government advice changes regarding Covid-19.

The decision to remain open has been taken because Opus is a manufacturer of measuring equipment and a UKAS dimensional calibration laboratory so it is not possible for our staff to work from home.

We are of course strictly following HM Government advice and updating our working practises daily and we are liaising with all employees daily to keep them updated on what the company is doing and also what is expected from them regarding cleanliness, hygiene, social distancing and what they must do if they start to feel unwell as the health and well being of all our employees and their families and friends is paramount to us.

In addition to this we have implemented a number of additional precautions to safeguard our employees which includes additional cleaning routines, banning all visitors, changes in procedures for receiving/ despatching goods to remove contact.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers and suppliers for their loyalty and support during what is clearly a very challenging and uncertain time for us all.
